Arnie the Articulation Teddy is a wonderful engaging sound program that utilises a super cute teddy puppet to model the placement of articulators for speech sound production.

You receive a teddy puppet (30.5 cm), a movable tongue, a spare tongue (!) and downloadable activities that can be printed and/or viewed on a screen. Tips are also included about how to promote correct production and when to expect it.

This wonderful program is popular with preschoolers and is used to increase oral awareness, phonological awareness (first phoneme identification) and promote correct sound production.

It can be used in 1:1 sessions or in preschool groups.

Arnie is able to demonstrate lots of sounds, but not ALL sounds. (He can’t round his lips to make a /w/ sound, for example). He can demonstrate: /b,k,d,f,g,h,l,m,n,p,s,t,th, v, z, ah/.
